Sun n Fun 2022, an overview of aerial performances

April 4th through the 8th

As another airshow season comes to a start in the Sunshine state, Sun n Fun is ramping up for their big event. Days of aerial performances will soar through the sky. Everything from vintage warbirds, custom made planes, stunt performers, to current military jets will take part in displays, not just on the ground, but also in the sky overhead.

Weather is currently looking to bring some rain during the weekdays during the event, but the weekend looks like all sunshine. Tickets are currently available online at their website here:

Purchase Tickets - SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo (flysnf.org) General admission is 45$ per day for adults and 20$ a day for children ages 7 to 17. There are also weekly ticket packages available and other upgrades as well.

Sure, a lot of people only come to see the planes fly, but there will be loads of other stuff to see and do on campus as well. There will be over 500 exhibitors which will have an awesome line up of products and services, hands on workshops which will teach building and maintenance skills, dozens of forums to educate pilots and maintainers about new products, safety, and numerous other topics. There's a family fun zone for the kids, and of course the STEM and career fair.

Headlining the aerial show this year will be the United States Air Force Thunderbirds. They will be the last to perform on the weekend and also on Thursday if you want to see them. They will also be joined by a number of incredible military and civilian performers. Below is the entire schedule of aerial performances so you can decide which days, if not all you want to visit!
