Updated: Jun 28, 2020

Lift off at 9:19 pm est from SLC-40 on Canaveral Air force base.

Another sixty satellites are in orbit thanks to Falcon 9 rocket launched by SpaceX as part of their global internet network named: Starlink. Including one satellite coated with and experimental dark paint to test making them less visible in the night sky. This coming from concerns that thousands of flat-panel satellites will impede astronomical observations.

SpaceX wants to begin limited service through their Starlink network later this year, then expand to global services where the network will reach consumers across the planet. The company stated users could also be airplanes, ships and the U.S. military.

SpaceX has became the largest satellite provider after delivering another 60 Starlink satellites into orbit (180 overall).

Booster 1049.4 makes its fourth launch and landing successfully, marking the 48th successful landing of a first stage booster for SpaceX.
